Reading Materials:

The text for the course is Readings in Information Retrieval, edited by Karen Sparck Jones and Peter Willet, published in 1997 by Morgan Kaufmann. The Physical Sciences library has a copy.

Other readings, for example conference papers, or chapters from Keith van Rijsbergen's book, will be assigned occasionally to supplement the text. These additional readings are on reserve in the Physical Sciences library, in LGRC. Keith van Rijsbergen's book is also available online, here.
