Instruction for Authors

  1. The paper should not exceed 10 pages and is either in PDF of Postscript format. 
  2. The paper must be formatted for printing on A4 paper. 
  3. Margins should be at least 2 cm. 
  4. Use single spacing, with a two-column format with a spacing of 0.5 cm. 
  5. Use Times New Roman font, with a minimum font size of 10 pt. 
  6. On the first page only:  at the left margin of the header, type the following three lines in Times New Roman 8 pt bold:

    14-17 May, 2002
    Langkawi, Malaysia
  8. The title of the paper should be bold and in Times New Roman 12 pt. 
  9. The paper should include an abstract not exceeding 100 words. 
  10. Please use black and white images only. 
  11. OMIT page numbers.
  12. The paper presenter is required to register for the conference.  The paper must be submitted to amoc-submission@fsktm.um.edu.my by 15 February, 2002.  The  registration form and the registration fee must be submitted by  7 March, 2002 to the address indicated on the registration form.

Non-Malaysian authors:  A letter will be sent to inform you that your paper has been accepted for presentation at the conference.  You will need this letter when applying for a visa to come to Malaysia.  If you do not receive it by the first week of March, please contact Dr Mazliza Othman.
