Asian International Mobile Computing Conference was initiated to provide a platform for people from developing and developed countries to meet and discuss issues of common interests. Following the success of the first conference, AMOC 2000, the second conference will be held in Langkawi on 14-17 May, 2002. AMOC 2002 aims to bring together researchers, academics and professionals in the field of mobile communications from Asia, Europe and America.

The topics of interest include, but are not limited to, those listed below:

Important Dates
Paper submission deadline has been extended to 6 October, 2001
Paper notification of acceptance : 15 January, 2002
Camera ready copy : 15 February, 2002

Submission Guidelines

Papers should be original, unpublished and not more than ten single-spaced pages with a minimum font size of 10 pt. Papers should be submitted in postscript format, and should only contain the paper title and the body of the paper, WITHOUT author names and affiliations. A separate document containing only the title, abstract, author names and their respective affiliations, in plain text format, is required. Please send your paper (in postscript format) and your separate author page (in plain text format) in separate emails to amoc-submission@fsktm.um.edu.my by the 6 October, 2001

Best Student Paper Award

The best paper with a student as primary author will be awarded a prize of US$500 during the conference. Student authors who would like to be considered for this award should write 'Student Paper' in the plain text document containing the paper title and author name(s) and affiliation(s).
