Multimedia Analysis and Discovery Lab (MAD)

Research and analysis related to the discovery and extraction of knowledge from multimedia sources such as video, sound, images, and text; application to problems in bioinformatics. Specific areas of application are problems in recognition and classification of information in face, fingerprint, iris, and handwriting data. Current doctoral research emphasizes bioinformatics analysis.
