Data Analysis and Knowledge Discovery Lab (DAKDL)

DAKDL performs research and development of new and computationally efficient data mining techniques and algorithms. Research areas include data mining models and techniques for solution of bioinformatics problems. object-oriented data classification, and data warehouse system development. Bioinformatics research, a challenging area presenting numerous computational problems, includes protein sequence analysis, protein structure prediction, and protein function prediction.
